The name behind the work
Why “Carnegien”?
We know the name invites questions. “Carnegien” sounds like “Carnegie” — and that’s intentional, but not in the way you might think.
Andrew Carnegie built libraries and believed in self-education as the great equalizer. We chose a name that echoes that legacy because we share the same belief: everyone deserves access to honest, practical education — not just those who can afford it.
We are not affiliated with the Carnegie Foundation, Carnegie Mellon University, or any Carnegie-endorsed organization. We are an independent project started in 2026 by Nantim Mullah Dadi fsi, and we have no claim to that legacy beyond shared values.
If the name feels borrowed, that’s fair criticism. We hope our content earns the right to it.
